Chorus:
Girls Rock inspires me
Girls Rock is the place to be
At Girls Rock I’m free to be me
We are honest and respectful
We are croissants not bagels
And we’re all each others’ equals
Chorus
At Girls Rock we make great friends
We’ll stay together ‘til the end
Chorus
We are powerful and strong
We all belong
Now let’s end this song
Come play the drums
Play the keys with ease
Get in your car and play the guitar
Grab a case for this bass
The locals love our vocals
Chorus
You Rock!

Girl power
Girls they rock
They play instruments
Oh yes, girls rock
Oh yeah they do
Y’all know it’s true
Girl power!
Girls they rock
They stay up all night
It’s a girls rock sleepover
With pillow fights
girl power
Girls they rock
They have lots of fun
They eat pizza all night long
Girl power
Girls they rock
They play instruments
Oh yes, girls rock
Oh yeah they do
Y’all know it’s true
Girl power!
Girls they rock
They stay up all night
It’s a girls rock sleepover
With pillow fights
girl power
Girls they rock
They have lots of fun
They eat pizza all night long
Girl power
Girls they rock
They’re super cool
You know it’s true
Ooo ooo ooo
Girl power!
GIRL POWER!
Girrrrl POWER!

Once I found some yellow feathers
They came from a tree with birds
Flying up and they had some
Yellow feathers
Chorus:
Running away from it (x2)
That figure (x3)
Has a yellow parrot, with yellow feathers
That figure that led me into the forest
To his cave with skeletons, zombies, and spiders
Chorus

Girls aren’t toys that you get in a package everyday,
Girls aren’t bad, they’re really okay.
Some of us are sensitive but that goes for boys too.
Don’t listen to the people, Who discriminate you.
Girls can’t just be left out.
Boys shouldn’t have any doubt.
The world’s not all about boys.
Girls cant be treated like toys.
We’ll be the first girls to rock your world.
We’re already winners, we don’t need a trophy or a man,
We don’t need fans.
We got ourselves and our music will expand.
Girls can’t just be left out.
Boys shouldn’t have any doubt.
The world’s not all about boys.
Girls can’t be treated like toys.
Think of the soccer team of USA.
Not just a soccer team though, a girls soccer team.
They won the world cup four times
The boys have never won!
And for us girls, just be very brave.
Don’t let people discriminate you.
Girls can’t just be left out.
Boys shouldn’t have any doubt.
The world’s not all about boys.
Girls cant be treated like toys.
Let’s get wild, girls!

If I were a shark I would swim in the dark
If I were a shark I would meet Tony Stark
If I were a shark I would bark bark bark!
If I were a shark I would spark
If I were a shark I would have big teeth
If I were a shark I would eat beef
If I were a shark I would avoid the dark
If I were a shark I would eat a park
If we were sharks, we would do all these things
That's the magic of imagining!
If I were a banana I would live in the savannah
If I were a banana I would wear a bandana
If I were a shark I would have 2,000 fins
If I were a shark I would not get reeled in
If I were a shark I would play in the sand
If I were a shark I would walk on land
If I were a shark I would gobble you up
If I were a shark I would make many marks
If we were sharks, we would do all these things
That's the magic of imagining!

Space is full of stars and darkness
But filled with color and it’s endless
And only limited to your
Imagination.
Neptune, let’s tune up!
Neptune, let’s tune up!
It’s filled with martians and aliens
From a different planet
That jump from star to star.
There’s no proof of them,
But we know that they are real.
Shooting stars fly by,
Asteroids collide,
Stars shine brightly like little UFOs.
You look up and see the whole entire milky way.
Neptune, let’s tune up!
Neptune, let’s tune up!
Stars collapse into bright, beautiful nebulas.
All these things shimmer above Luna as a wolf.
As the eclipse closes the day into night.
All of space reveals itself to a dark night sky.

There’s something new at Girls Rock
Guess what it is? Guess what it is?
CHICKENS
They hatched from an egg two years ago
Their mother waited for them to grow
Their parents had busy jobs
They sent them to Girls Rock
To play some songs
What happens next? I don’t know
One’s in a trashcan, one’s in your face
One’s in the drumset, one’s playing bass
Chorus:
Cut up shirts
Plugged in amps
Formed a band
Had fun at camp
They invited their friends to the show
They played their song and their friends said WOAH
They came to camp so they could rock
Next year they’ll be the coolest kids on the block
Chorus
There’s something new at Girls Rock
Guess what it is? Guess what it is?
CHICKENS

I've been hearing things lately
I don't know how to feel
Scatterbrain of theories,
Conspiracies I want you to hear
My mind is blown,
Can't stop dreaming
I've learned some things
The government wouldn't condone
We can prove the sun,
But what about area 51
CHORUS:
I want to know, did we land on the Moon?
I want to know, is there a person in my phone?
Is time travel real?
I mean, what's the big deal?
Yeah, I don't think we're alone
In this big ol' universe we call home
How do you join the Illuminati?
Just think about what else there could be
Do the birds really work for the bourgeoisie?
Paranoid doesn't mean wrong
Crazy doesn't mean right
CHORUS
Told you all what I know
Now it’s time to close the show

Lying in the grass
letting time pass
laying in the shade
drinking gatorade (it’s not even the blue kind)
gotta think of something to
(chorus)
I guess i could...
Rob my neighbor for Beyoncé tickets
escape in my mom’s old prius
speeding down the highway, gotta see our Queen Beyoncé
Thinking of the friends I left behind
I can’t keep the relationships out of my mind
gotta think of something to do
(chorus)
I got more gas, then i left real fast
I saw the blue and red lights and then i peed my pants (oh crap, it’s the po po)
Feds can’t handle this sauce (way too saucy)
officer roger, my brother, is following me. I think I broke the law. he sees my tickets and hops in the back of my prius. (we’re off to see the queen)
but instead i’m sitting all alone, no true place to call home (they moved). bored out of my mind, there’s so many things I could do with this time.
outro-
here I am at the place I wanted to be. I finally saw the queen that i wanted to see.

Don’t you wanna know what happens at night
When a blackout comes to give us a fright
I’ll go ahead and tell you what happened one time
When a band disappeared in 2009
It was on a concert night, just like this
Then suddenly a blackout hit
Chorus:
Oh they disappeared
Right here (x2)
Oh they disappeared
Right here (x2)
Now they haunt the girls rock building
They steal our guitar picks
Break our drumsticks
Mess with our hi-hats
The keys are blasting
The microphone’s on
And the bluetooth breaks, like that
The band’s old instruments keep popping up
And whoever uses them gets bad luck
Make sure you don’t bang on the wrong drums
Or the blackout band is sure to come
Chorus
